Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to support daily administrative and financial recordkeeping for a rental and leasing services operation in Texas. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is accurate, organized, and comfortable managing a high volume of information in a fast-paced setting. The role will contribute to data accuracy, payroll support, and front-desk coordination while helping keep routine business activities running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Enter, update, and verify large volumes of numerical and text-based information across records with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with payroll-related tasks, including preparing entries, reviewing information for discrepancies, and supporting reconciliation activities.
• Maintain spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel, using formulas and structured tracking methods to organize operational and financial data.
• Support daily administrative functions such as document handling, record maintenance, and general clerical coordination.
• Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members in a clear and courteous manner.
• Prepare and record various deposits, including cash, checks, credit card transactions, and daily bank deposits, ensuring proper documentation.
• Review entered data for completeness and correct inconsistencies to help maintain reliable reporting and internal records.
• Provide administrative assistance by helping prioritize routine tasks and keeping information accessible and well organized.
