Job Description

Our client is in need of a Data Entry specialist to support accurate and timely information processing for a long-term contract position in Texas. This opportunity is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining organized records, handling high-volume data tasks, and ensuring information is entered with precision. The role requires strong focus, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently while meeting quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Enter, update, and maintain data in internal systems with a high level of accuracy. Review source documents carefully to verify completeness and correct inconsistencies before inputting information. Organize digital and paper records to support efficient retrieval and recordkeeping. Perform routine quality checks to confirm entered data aligns with established standards and guidelines. Identify missing, unclear, or conflicting information and escalate issues when clarification is needed. Support ongoing administrative workflows by processing data in a timely and dependable manner. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business information and records. Previous experience in data entry, clerical support, or a related administrative position. Strong typing skills with the ability to enter information accurately and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail and a consistent approach to reviewing work for errors. Comfort working with computers, databases, and standard office software. Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining concentration and productivity. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize assigned work effectively. Reliable communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
