This is a 1099 independent contractor position with current project needs primarily in West Virginia and North Carolina, with opportunities to travel to additional locations as work becomes available. This role requires extensive travel and is best suited for self-motivated individuals who are comfortable working independently or leading small crews in the field. Contractors are responsible for their own transportation and lodging. Equipment can be provided if needed. Pay typically ranges from $1,500 to $3,000+ per week depending on production, with higher earning potential for motivated and efficient contractors. This position offers flexibility, allowing you to set your own schedule and manage your workload. Duties & Responsibilities Perform utility pole field data collection using Katapult Pro for joint use and fiber projects Capture accurate measurements, photos, and attachments in accordance with project requirements Identify pole attachments, communication lines, and electrical infrastructure Maintain quality and consistency of collected data to meet client standards Navigate rural and urban environments while collecting field data Work independently or lead/coordinate with a small field crew when needed Travel to project locations, primarily in West Virginia and North Carolina, with potential for additional states Maintain and care for provided or personal field equipment Upload and organize collected data in a timely manner
