Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role is a long-term contract position that requires attention to detail and a strong ability to manage a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the Accounts Payable department with accurate invoice processing and data management.
Responsibilities:
  • Process 200-250 invoices daily with accuracy and efficiency to support Accounts Payable operations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to perform data entry and maintain organized records.
  • Scan and record documents to ensure proper digital archiving.
  • Verify and code invoices to align with company standards and procedures.
  • Ensure all numeric and alphanumeric data is entered correctly and promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies or issues during invoice processing.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information.
  • Adhere to deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively in a high-volume environment.
  • Perform periodic reviews of entered data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
