Job Description
Job Overview Gone Stores (gone.com) is a second-hand furniture retailer with a physical storefront and an online store. Every item we receive is prepared for the sales floor and listed on gone.com. We need an in- person, hands-on, highly motivated, adaptable and detail-oriented team member who moves seamlessly between physical warehouse tasks and computer-based data entry. The successful warehouse associate will drive operational excellence across their disciplines. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and photograph incoming inventory items Assess item quality and prepare each for the sales floor and listing on gone.com Evaluate product data to catch errors and improve quality Safely move and position heavy furniture (50+ lbs) Organize warehouse and back-of-house storage for efficient stock flow Process online orders — remove sold items from the floor and place in the safe pick-up location Flag damaged or mislabeled items to management Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards Support unloading and loading a box truck of products with care Set up and maintain furniture displays and vignettes Assist with pricing, tagging, and signage Support seasonal floor resets and merchandise rotations Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor Provide operational assistance to retail team as needed Required Skills 2 - 4 years experience in warehouse, manufacturing, moving, or furniture environment 2 - 4 years experience using digital platforms to enter/manage data Excellent attention to detail and quality Adaptable, self directed, reliable, and punctual Ability to lift and maneuver items 50+ lbs regularly Strong multitasking across warehouse and floor Positive demeanor, customer-first attitude Excellent verbal communication skills Preferred Skills Leadership experience Familiarity with second-hand or resale goods E-commerce or online order experience Experience in a Lean or six-sigma environment
