Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support prescription order processing in Madison, Wisconsin. This Long-term Contract position focuses on accurately transferring information from spreadsheets into a prescription ordering platform and helping maintain organized, reliable records. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with computers, confident using Excel, and committed to precision in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Enter prescription order details from spreadsheets into the designated ordering system with a high degree of accuracy
- Create and update order records by reviewing source information and inputting data into the appropriate fields
- Verify entered information to reduce errors and maintain consistent data quality across records
- Organize and manage incoming data files to support efficient daily processing of prescription-related information
- Use Excel and other computer-based tools to review, track, and maintain order data
- Follow established procedures for handling sensitive information and completing data tasks on schedule
