Job Description

Processing Technician Special Markets Insurance Consultants Inc This is a permanent position 40 hours per week Monday through Friday in office. This position is providing data entry, administrative tasks and accounting support. Ideal candidates will be detail oriented and results driven.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry & Policy Administration:
Input and update account information accurately, ensuring consistency across systems. Regularly assess account data for errors and take corrective action as needed.
Invoicing & Account Reconciliation:
Accept and process payments received by phone, online, mail or internally. Manage invoicing processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing. Reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and address issues promptly.
Communication and Customer Service:
Communicate regularly and effectively with internal departments, agents, insureds and carriers to gather necessary information. Utilize email and other communication channels to request clarification or further details as needed.
Documentation & Recordkeeping:
Maintain accurate documentation of account files, ensuring all updates and changes are well-documented. Follow best practices for recordkeeping to ensure audit trails and easy retrieval of information.
Key Skills & Qualities:
Insurance Experience (Preferred Not Required): Prior experience in the insurance industry is a plus, providing familiarity with industry-specific processes and terminology. Attention to

High proficiency in reviewing and identifying discrepancies in reports.
Organization & Time Management:
Ability to juggle multiple accounts and tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Above Average Problem-Solving Skills:
Capable of identifying issues, analyzing situations, and researching appropriate solutions Proficient with
Microsoft Office Programs:
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office tools to manage data, reports, and correspondence.
