Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Verify insurance eligibility for future patient appointments, document eligibility notes and perform patient outreach as needed while providing excellent customer service. As a Team Lead, the employee will assist with overseeing the department, including managing attendance, delegating tasks, coordinating new hire training and communicating with offices. The Team Lead is responsible for supporting Insurance Eligibility Specialists in completing tasks and meeting productivity goals.SUPERVISIORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in new hire interview process, coordinate training schedules and assist in completing two week review, 30-day review, 60-day review, 90-day review Communicate with IT Support to ensure that all new hires receive their equipment/access on time and support resolution of IT issues for team members Assist with bi-weekly payroll reporting including daily review of attendance, absences, tardiness in Shifts App Oversight of the department calendar to ensure adequate coverage Delegate tasks to team members and support their development by completing monthly Eligibility Quality Assurance forms. Communicate updates, workflow changes and departmental goals with team members Collaborate with supervisor to meet departmental goals and resolve issues Follow Pediatric Associates Eligibility Verification Quality Checklist to determine insurance eligibility Review patient insurance for future appointments and identify eligibility requirements based on health plan Use all available resources to determine insurance eligibility (e.g. system, web portals, phone) Update patient insurance details accurately Identify eligibility issues, communicate them to patients/parents and accurately document action taken Complete all assigned appointments efficiently, within the expected timeframe Communicate with office location via e-mail, Microsoft Teams and/or phone to coordinate patient callbacks for appointment rescheduling Communicate effectively with supervisor, escalating issues as needed Meet productivity standards as determinedPERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Location:
Monterrey, Mexico Experience :
