Our mission is to provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in a modern outpatient setting while helping patients improve function, mobility, and overall quality of life. We perform a variety of minimally invasive pain management procedures, including: Cervical and lumbar neurostimulator trials and permanent implants Epidural steroid injections (ESI) Medial branch blocks (MBB) Trigger point injections (TPI) Additional image-guided interventional pain procedures As a AAAHC-credentialed facility, Bayside Surgery Center is committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Our team works collaboratively to create a streamlined surgical experience while delivering compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. We are seeking team members who are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about contributing to a fast-paced healthcare environment focused on exceptional patient outcomes. This position does require individual to be on-site Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM. This is not a remote role. Qualifications Must have at a minimum of 5 years experience in a Financial Intake/Insurance capacity within a healthcare provider setting Perform Administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc Maintains compliance with all HIPAA regulations Ability to accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner Absolute and complete professionalism and confidentiality continually maintained Flexibility and adaptability Must possess exceptional organizational and communication skills Working knowledge of office machines, such as copiers, scanners, faxes, phone systems, etc. Excellent MS Office and Computer skills with EMR preferred. Must have excellent attention to detail Must attend and participate in all mandatory in-services High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Responsibilities Obtain and verify insurance eligibility for services provided and accurately document complete information within the system Configure and verify coordination of benefits information on every referral Collect payments from patients and/or family members as appropriate Manage insurance intake, claims follow-up, denials, and appeals processes Coordinate denial management and appeal correspondence with insurance companies and physician offices Monitor claims status and ensure timely resolution of unpaid or underpaid claims Maintain accurate documentation of all communication related to billing, claims, appeals, and collection procedures Provide insurance companies with required clinical information including laboratory results, diagnosis codes, ICD-10 codes, operative notes, and supporting medical documentation Procure necessary documentation by collaborating with physicians, clinical staff, and insurance companies Handle inbound calls from patients, physician offices, and insurance companies professionally and efficiently Interact effectively with physicians, clinical staff, patients, and their families Maintain superior customer service while handling sensitive patient and organizational information with strict confidentiality Communicate insurance-related delays, requirements, or financial responsibilities clearly and professionally Conduct self with professional decorum at all times and with all individuals within the facility Follow established Infection Control policies and procedures Maintain compliance with
HIPAA, AAAHC
standards, payer regulations, and organizational policies Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the surgery center's operations Experience Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual candidates are highly preferred Familiarity with sales administration processes and analysis skills to interpret market trends and client data effectively Previous experience in insurance sales or related financial services is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering outstanding customer service

$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
