Admissions Coordinator / Intake Specialist Elijahs House - 2.9 Pasadena, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $25.57 - $30.79 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Intake Clinical information systems Customer relationship management Phone canvassing Performing background checks Empathy Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description About Us Elijah's House is a licensed (DHCS) and Joint Commission-accredited residential substance use disorder treatment facility in Pasadena, CA. We help individuals and families find their path to recovery — and we're growing fast. The Role We're looking for a high-energy Admissions Coordinator who knows how to close. You'll be the first voice our prospective clients hear and the person who guides them from first call to walking through our doors. This is a phone-heavy, high-volume sales role — you'll be working 1,000-2,000 inbound/purchased leads per month and owning each one from A to Z. What You'll Do Call and respond to leads quickly — speed to lead is everything Build rapport, assess the caller's situation, and identify treatment needs Collect insurance information and coordinate verification of benefits (VOB) Present our residential and IOP programs confidently and compassionately Handle objections and follow up relentlessly — "I need to talk to my mom," "I need to check with HR," "I need a doctor's note" — you stay with them through every step Nurture leads through consistent, persistent follow-up until admission Coordinate the full admission: travel logistics, arrival, intake paperwork Document all activity in our CRM/EMR and report daily on pipeline status Who You Are A closer. You've worked in phone sales, admissions, call center, or high-volume inside sales and you know how to get to yes Persistent without being pushy — you follow up 5, 10, 15 times if that's what it takes Empathetic — you're talking to people and families in crisis, and you can build trust fast Organized — you can juggle dozens of active leads without dropping any Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or healthcare admissions is a strong plus but not required Insurance/VOB familiarity a plus Requirements Full-time, on-site in Pasadena, CA — this is NOT a remote position 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday (some flexibility for evening/weekend follow-ups a plus) Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls daily Clean background check per DHCS requirements Compensation Competitive base salary + performance bonus structure
