As a Verification Agent, you will play a critical role in supporting the loan origination process by reviewing and verifying customer information and documentation. You will work directly with applicants to collect required documents, validate income and identity information, and ensure all application requirements are met accurately and efficiently. We are looking for agents available to work the following shifts: 10am-7pm CT, Monday-Friday. You will Verify and authenticate client information, documentation, and records for accuracy and compliance. Conduct thorough reviews of applications, forms, and supporting documents to ensure completeness. Contact clients, agencies, employers, and third parties to obtain or confirm required information. Investigate discrepancies, inconsistencies, or missing information and resolve issues promptly. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all verification activities and client interactions. Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards. Process verification requests within established turnaround times while maintaining accuracy. Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders regarding verification requirements and outcomes. Identify potential fraud, misrepresentation, or documentation concerns and escalate as appropriate. Utilize multiple databases, software systems, and reporting tools to research and validate information. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless case processing and service delivery. Prioritize workload effectively while managing multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. Protect confidential and sensitive information in accordance with privacy regulations and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service while guiding clients through the verification process. Assist with audits, quality assurance reviews, and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. You have High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred 2+ years of customer service experience 1+ years of experience in a similar verification position Strong understanding of the loan verification process Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment We offer Considerable employer contributions for health, dental, and vision programs Generous PTO, paid holidays, and paid parental leave 401(k) matching program In addition to base compensation, this position qualifies for a monthly bonus, subject to the terms outlined in the company's bonus plan.
