Start of employment to begin approximately June 2026, subject to position clearance, annually renewable depending on performance and funding availability. Duties and Responsibilities- Collaborates and/or supports Admissions efforts with JABSOM Office of Admissions personnel.
- Oversees the resolution of admissions inquiries and provides general premedical guidance to prospective students, applicants, community organizations, and the general public to support JABSOM's recruitment and enrollment efforts. Advises regarding the development and implementation of MD Program application processes.
- Navigates the American Medical College Application Service application along with the application management system to assist with Office of Admissions projects and tasks.
- Oversees JABSOM application screening procedures and serves as the initial evaluator of applications.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for Admissions information; fulfills and resolves data and information requests from JABSOM related groups, community organizations, and the general public on Admissions initiatives.
- Responsible for the compilation, analysis and preparation of statistical data related to admissions efforts for the purposes of report generation and/or research and innovation.
- Conducts literature reviews and develops admissions scholarly projects and reports at the direction of the Director of Admissions.
- Responsible for JABSOM Office of Admissions accreditation interim and final reports at the direction of the Director of Admissions.
- Denotes Essential Job Functions Minimum Qualifications Possession of a baccalaureate degree in education, business administration, communication or related field and 3 year(s) of progressively responsible professional experience with responsibilities for admissions and/or related administrative work in a higher education; or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.
