Salary:
Starting at $17.51 an hour (Non-exempt). Salary is commensurate with experience About the
Position:
Provide services that help families comply with court-ordered program participation and work through difficult situations and assist parents or other caregivers to maintain or reunify their family unit. A Typical Day as a
Family Visitation Specialist:
Provides safe transportation for children and adolescents to and from sibling and/or parenting visits, medical visits, appointments, etc. as needed. Supervise parent/child visitation. Complete appropriate documentation regarding activities performed. Work in conjunction with the DCFS caseworker to provide coordinated case treatment. Conduct assessments and report to professional team members any progress, changes in the situations of persons served. How you will spend your time in this position: 80% home visits/field work 10% documentation 10% training
Work Hours:
Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based on the availability of youth and families served. Does the Following High School Diploma or GED Child Welfare Experience (preferred)
Additional Qualifications:
