As an Insurance Verification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the patient billing process. Your primary focus will be verifying insurance benefits, determining estimated patient responsibility for medical procedures, and supporting overall patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Review patient details and scheduled procedures, and identify any required medical implants Verify insurance benefits by communicating with payers via phone or online platforms Calculate estimated patient amount due based on insurance contracts and procedure specifics Document all insurance and billing interactions accurately and in a timely manner Maintain thorough records using provided templates and forms Contact patients prior to scheduled procedures to discuss payment responsibilities and attempt pre-collection Identify and obtain any necessary pre-authorizations or precertifications Monitor daily activity to ensure all patients are verified for upcoming procedures Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism, contributing to positive survey results and overall satisfaction Escalate any billing discrepancies, challenging interactions, or unwillingness to pay to management Connect with our team today to learn more, discuss your short
