Job Description

Job Description Hopebridge was founded in 2005 to serve the growing need for autism treatment services and to improve the lives of affected children and families. We are the nation's largest autism therapy provider in the United States, providing one-on-one, personalized therapy for children and their families touched by behavioral, physical, social, communication and sensory challenges. We are headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, and provide compassionate care in the following twelve states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Ohio, and Tennessee. As a Referral Support Specialist at Hopebridge, you will be responsible for collecting patient demographics and health insurance information to help our families maintain coverage for services. Responsibilities What You'll Do Work with a team to help guide families through our Hopebridge patient onboarding process Initiate calls to new referrals in a timely manner Pre-qualifies patient referrals before moving them on to the next onboarding process Performing patient eligibility for new referrals Responsible for data entry for new referrals Contact physicians and insurance offices via fax and/or phone as needed Other duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications What You'll Need High school diploma or equivalent required Prior authorizations, healthcare, insurance verification, and/or patient services experience preferred Prior medical billing experience is a plus Excellent active listening, customer service, and organizational skills required Working knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
