Intake Specialist

Tier 1 Intake Specialist Broadway Home Medical, a locally owned and community-focused DME company, has an immediate opening for a Tier 1 Intake Specialist . This role is key to supporting our patients and referral partners by ensuring a smooth intake process. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Answering inbound phone calls with professionalism and care Receiving and processing orders via fax, hand delivery, or in person Verifying insurance benefits, deductibles, and co-insurance amounts Collecting medical records to confirm medical necessity for equipment and supplies Communicating effectively with patients, referral sources, and insurance companies Dispensing equipment and supplies directly to patients Scheduling deliveries to patient homes Assisting customers with retail sales in our showroom

What We're Looking For:

Dependable, reliable, and detail-oriented team members Strong general office and customer service skills Excellent communication and critical-thinking abilities Healthcare experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right candidate

Schedule:
