Job Description

The Caroline County Department of Social Services is currently recruiting for a full-time State Contractual Family Investment Specialist I to assist with determining eligibility for government programs and benefits.
Employment Information:
$22.04 per hour Full- time, State Contractual Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Eligible for State of Maryland subsidized health benefits
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
Six months of public contact experience involving negotiating, interviewing, explaining information, gathering and compiling data, performing analysis of data, writing correspondence, and completing mathematical or legal tasks. OR Six months of general office, retail, food service, construction trades, or similar experience including data entry, record filing and maintenance, multi-line phone use, general computer skills and email software.
