July 13, 2026•?? About the RoleWe are hiring Intake Specialists to support a high-volume healthcare operations team. This role is the front line of the revenue cycle, responsible for verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, and ensuring patients are cleared for services in a timely and accurate manner. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to break into the medical/healthcare field or grow their administrative experience in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

  • Core hours: 8:00 AM
  • 4:30 PM (training and standard schedule)
  • Occasional flexibility required (shift range may extend as early as 7:30 AM or as late as 6:30 PM)
  • 30-minute lunch + two 15-minute breaks
  • ?? Key Responsibilities
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patient referrals
  • Obtain authorizations and pre-certifications from insurance providers
  • Communicate patient coverage details (deductibles, out-of-pocket costs, etc.)
  • Document all authorization and benefit information accurately in systems
  • Coordinate with internal teams regarding updates or payer requirements
  • Manage high-volume administrative tasks with quick turnaround times
  • Respond to urgent requests from internal stakeholders
  • Serve as a liaison between payer and internal teams
  • ? Required Qualifications
  • 1-2+ years of customer service or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, ability to navigate multiple systems)
  • Ability to multitask across dual monitors and multiple applications
  • High attention to detail and accuracy (data entry integrity)
  • Ability to meet productivity and turnaround expectations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Must pass an Excel assessment (70% or higher required
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or authorizations
  • Familiarity with medical terminology or insurance processes
  • Background in administrative, clerical, or data entry-heavy roles
