Jackson, Michigan Position Overview:

The Provider Enrollment Support I role is an entry-level position responsible for assisting the Provider Enrollment team with routine administrative tasks. This role is focused on supporting the day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficient handling of basic provider enrollment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the collection and verification of provider credentials (example, licenses, certifications). Identify and escalate any concerns related to provider enrollment process. Assist in payer follow-up activities as needed to ensure timely enrollment. Manage department mail, including sending, receiving, and processing. Assist in preparing basic enrollment reports and documentation. Perform data entry and ensure records are accurate and complete. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the department.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year experience in an administrative or support role, ideally within healthcare Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements:

Physical ability to sit, talk, hear for extended period throughout the workday; stand, walk, push/pull, bend, stoop, kneel and reach on a regular to seldom basis. Repetitive hand motions on a frequent basis including fingering, grasping and handling. Ability to read handwritten and typed documents on paper and/or computer screens.
