This position offers the opportunity to serve as a key point of contact for referrals, admissions, and census coordination while supporting program operations and client access to care. Key Responsibilities:
Respond to new referrals and document information accurately using appropriate systems Maintain and manage waiting lists in accordance with CARF and DMH standards Build and maintain professional relationships with referral sources, clients, and team members Support program census management across service lines including detoxification, residential, and outpatient programs Complete intake screenings via phone or face‑to‑face interactions Ensure completeness and accuracy of client records, correcting deficiencies within required timelines Assist clinical teams with administrative tasks including letters and documentation Complete admissions documentation in electronic systems including face sheets, releases of information, and financial data Coordinate with care managers and billing teams regarding insurance and payer requirements Enter and maintain accurate data within required timeframes Ensure admissions, transfers, and discharges are completed accurately and processed appropriately for billing Deliver exceptional customer service to create a welcoming environment for clients and families Assist with filing, chart reviews, and record maintenance Perform other duties as assigned by leadership Education, Experience, and/or
Credential Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required
Additional Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and current auto insurance Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Knowledge of confidentiality laws related to behavioral health services Proficiency with computer systems including Word and Excel Ability to build rapport and provide exceptional customer service Physical Requirements Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Ability to perform repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements for typing and documentation Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional walking or standing Ability to meet the physical demands of a sedentary work environment
