The Enrollment Technician is responsible for supporting tribal enrollment operations through the accurate processing of membership applications and the issuance of tribal identification cards. This position ensures compliance with Title 10 (X) Enrollment Code, applicable policies, and the terms of the 638 contract. The Enrollment Technician will maintain membership records, assist tribal members and external agencies with inquiries, and uphold strict standards of confidentiality, accuracy, and customer service. The role also includes both digital and physical record management, verification of official documents, and coordination with the Enrollment Manager to resolve discrepancies or issues.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Process tribal enrollment applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with Title 10 (X) Enrollment Code Issue and update tribal identification cards, including replacements, while verifying authenticity of legal identification documents Maintain and update membership records in both physical files and the Progeny data management system Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from tribal members, potential members, and external agencies (including ICWA and Child Protection Services) Perform clerical and administrative duties, including correspondence via phone, email, mail, and in-person interactions Monitor and report discrepancies, errors, or suspicious documentation to the Enrollment Manager and assist in resolving issues Will perform other duties as assigned that fall under the scope of the program.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMTESTING AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
Subject to pre-employment, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing. Must submit to a background check.HIRING PREFERENCES
Qualified applicants who are enrolled members of a federally recognized Tribe will receive Native American preference. Qualified applicants will receive Veteran's Preference with submission of proof of honorable military service (e.g., DD-214).
