Job Description

Provider Enrollment Assistant 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars The Provider Enrollment Coordinator works in collaboration with the Medical Staff Office and the Provider Enrollment Specialist to assist in the payer enrollment process. The Coordinator is primarily responsible for updating practitioner information in our internal software, but will also assist with updating the payers when needed. In addition to data entry, the coordinator also gathers and maintains copies of licensure, certificates, and other documents necessary for the enrollment process, maintains provider CAQH profiles, and conducts verifications of all data, ensuring accuracy and timely data entry of information. They manage the collection and tracking of Medicaid Billing Certification Statements (ETINs).
Essential Functions:
Assists in the enrollment process and maintains provider information. Adheres to deadlines and enrollment schedules. Communicates with providers, ACH and
AMMS, PC
staff, and payers via email, phone and mail. Helps the department move to paperless by centralizing all provider data gathered in software. Maintains confidentiality and responsibility for all enrollment files throughout the process.
Qualifications:
Preferred 2 years' experience in a medical office or billing setting. Associate Degree preferred. Strong communication skills as you will be speaking with payers, facilities and medical billing staff on a regular basis. Knowledge of medical credentialing and privileging procedures and standards preferred. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional. Database management skills including querying, reporting, and document generation. Excellent organizational skills and must be detailed oriented. Strong computer and typing skills.

$20-$24/hour
Hours:
7am-3pm or 8am-4pm,
