CHILD WELFARE CASE SPECIALIST
Full-Time | Salary | JusticeWorks YouthCare Make a difference for children and families in your community.
Compensation:
$35,000 - $40,000 per year
Schedule:
Full-time with some evenings/weekends

About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Case Specialist to join our Somerset County team. In this role, you will support children and families by assessing needs, coordinating services, monitoring progress, and promoting safety and well-being. Your work will help ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow in a safe and supportive environment. Minimum Requirements Associate's Degree and experience working with youth and families. Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle. Ability to pass all required background clearances. Ability to pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening. Availability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends. What You'll Do Review information from the County Intake Department and assess client needs Engage families in service and treatment planning to promote stability and positive outcomes. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services and update plans as needed. Transport clients using your personal vehicle when required.
