Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for financial analysis and a passion for helping others? CAP Global Works, LLC is looking for a Financial Representative to join our team! This onsite role is based at the Department of Human Services (DHS) Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL) - Quality Management & Evaluation Team (QMET) in Harrisburg, PA. What You'll Do As a Financial Representative, you'll play a vital role in supporting long-term living programs by ensuring financial eligibility and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing and evaluating financial applications, supporting documentation, and eligibility records. Analyzing income, assets, resources, and expenses to determine program eligibility. Conducting interviews with applicants, participants, and their representatives to verify financial information. Maintaining accurate and complete case records in accordance with policies and procedures. Verifying financial data using third-party resources and appropriate documentation. Preparing and issuing eligibility determinations, notices, correspondence, and reports. Monitoring participant cases to ensure ongoing eligibility and compliance. Responding to inquiries from clients, providers, and stakeholders regarding financial eligibility. Collaborating with caseworkers, healthcare providers, service coordinators, and external agencies. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and departmental regulations. Assisting with quality assurance reviews, audits, and special projects. Safeguarding sensitive client and financial information with the utmost confidentiality. What We're Looking For We're seeking candidates who bring both expertise and enthusiasm to this important role.
The ideal candidate will have:
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Services, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred). 2-4 years of experience in financial services, eligibility determination, accounting, case management, benefits administration, or a related field. Experience reviewing financial records and supporting documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to interpret regulations, policies, and procedural guidelines. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Medicaid, long-term care, healthcare, or public assistance programs. Knowledge of Pennsylvania Department of Human Services programs and eligibility requirements. Familiarity with case management systems and state eligibility platforms. Experience conducting compliance reviews or quality assurance activities.
