About the TIP Facilitator Role Central Behavioral Health is seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Specialist to support the daily operations of our Revenue Cycle Department. This position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate client registration, insurance verification, payment processing, and revenue cycle support activities while serving as a resource for electronic health record (EHR) and billing system workflows. Post client and payer payments within the billing system. Perform insurance eligibility verification and benefit checks. Review new client registrations for completeness and accuracy. Conduct intake scrubs to ensure required documentation, consents, and signatures have been obtained. Maintain county authorization information, including MHX numbers and related documentation. Generate and distribute client invoices and statements. Assist with client account inquiries and payment-related questions. Support revenue cycle workflows to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement. Serve as a departmental superuser for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and billing software systems. Provide basic user support and troubleshooting assistance to staff. Assist with training and onboarding staff on EHR and billing system workflows. Monitor data quality and identify registration or documentation issues. Collaborate with clinical, intake, and billing staff to resolve workflow concerns. Participate in department meetings and process improvement initiatives. Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred :
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferred:
Experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, medical office administration, or revenue cycle support.
Preferred:
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Preferred:
Experience with insurance verification, payment posting, registration, scheduling, or billing support functions. Skills Ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
