Job Description

Job description Alliance for Progress Charter School in North Philadelphia is currently seeking a full-time Enrollment Specialist for the 2026-2027 school year. Under the general direction and supervision of the Business Administration Manager, the Enrollment Specialist will be responsible for the enrollment/re-enrollment processes for all students attending AFPCS. Key Responsibilities:
Outreach and Recruitment:
Attend community events, fairs, and school visits to promote Alliance for Progress Charter School and engage prospective families. Reach out to families via phone calls, emails, and text messages to inform them about the school and encourage application submissions. Build relationships with local community organizations and leaders to identify and attract potential students.
Application Guidance:
Assist families with completing the online application process and ensure that all required documentation is submitted accurately and timely. Provide clear guidance regarding admissions criteria, eligibility requirements, and important enrollment deadlines. Offer support for families needing assistance with the application, including translation services when necessary.
School Tours and Presentations:
Conduct personalized school tours for prospective families, highlighting school facilities, curriculum, and teaching methodologies. Deliver presentations that convey Alliance for Progress Charter School's educational philosophy, core values, and student achievement.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate records of prospective student information in the enrollment management system (such as Powerschool SIS, Powerschool Enrollment, Infinite Campus ). Track the progress of applications and follow up with families to ensure timely completion. Analyze enrollment data to identify trends, inform recruitment strategies, and assess the success of outreach efforts.
Collaboration:
Work closely with school leadership, admissions teams, and other staff to ensure a smooth and efficient enrollment process. Coordinate with community partners to help identify potential students and ensure their enrollment needs are met.
Support and Customer Service:
Provide ongoing support to parents throughout the enrollment process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Foster positive relationships with prospective families, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience.
General Administrative Tasks:
Assist with organizing and hosting family engagement events, orientations, and recruitment activities. Support school staff with any additional administrative tasks related to enrollment as needed.
