Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Credentialing Specialist. The Credentialing Specialist will manage the credentialing and recredentialing processes for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and payer requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining credentialing databases, submitting applications for Medicare and other payers, and acting as a liaison between providers and credentialing bodies. The specialist will also ensure accuracy and timeliness in all documentation and provide excellent customer service in addressing inquiries related to credentialing. Qualifications Proven expertise in Credentialing and Medical Staff Credentialing processes Strong Communication and Customer Service skills Experience with Medicare applications and regulations Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities Proficiency in using credentialing software and maintaining databases Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team Prior experience in the healthcare industry is preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus Requirements added by the job poster Commute to this job's location Working in an onsite setting
