up to $22.28 per hour commensurate with experience The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is seeking a dedicated Family Services Specialist - Processor to advocate for families and responsible for maintaining accurate information about families in the Statewide Data System. Enhanced Field System (EFS), screening applicants for financial assistance, and performing eligibility determination and enrollment for School Readiness, Voluntary Prekindergarten, CSC Scholarship, Head Start and Early Head Start childcare programs. If you're passionate about making a difference, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact in your community. What You'll Do Provide Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) services. Determine childcare eligibility through online application review process Advocate for families and determine family's needs through interviews and complete necessary digital paperwork for maintaining eligibility, transferring childcare providers, and terminating services. Support families in completion of the child developmental screening process. Responsible for monitoring processing queues to ensure applications, renewals and case updates are completed within required timelines. Respond to requests for information from clients/providers in accordance with designated timeframes and within the client confidentiality guidelines. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services, Social Work, or related field. Training, education, and/or experience may be substituted for certain minimum qualifications for current Family Services employees with at least 2 years of relevant experience at the
ELCPBC. 2
years of experience in CCR&R, eligibility determination, or childcare enrollment processes. Strong customer service and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues.
