Title IV-E/Medicaid Eligibility Specialist FT / PT Status

  • 7/10/2026 Key Responsibilities Collecting and reviewing client information to determine client's/applicant's eligibility and options.
Preparing and/or processing documents; reviewing for accuracy and completeness; updating information and/or evaluating against policy; comparing elements for consistency or logical relationships, etc. Referring clients to other available services to meet needs where appropriate. Consulting with Division staff regarding eligibility requirements when necessary. Maintaining and/or creating files or record keeping systems; sorting, labeling, filing, and retrieving documents, and/or other materials. Entering data into relevant databases such as EREP, and CARE. Participate in Peer Reviews, State and Federal audits. Qualifications Preference may be given to the following: Experience in or knowledge of Title IV-E and Medicaid and/or two or more years of experience working in government or public programs Knowledge, skills, and abilities related to the Title IV-E Medicaid Using State or agency-specific software application program(s) Knowledge using CARE Reading, interpreting and applying laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures Foster care services About the Role Location
