Job Description

Aiken Center is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to support daily office operations with a primary focus on insurance and billing. This role also provides support to the ADSAP program and front desk team, helping ensure efficient, accurate, and timely service for patients and staff in a mission-driven behavioral health setting.

Operations Manager Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (37.5-hour work week)

Full-time, Non-Exempt Salary:
Starting at $32,000 What You'll Do Verify insurance coverage and obtain required authorizations. Investigate claim denials, post payments, and apply adjustments accurately in the electronic health record. Support ADSAP operations by scheduling patients for enrollment and entering patient information into the electronic health record. Provide backup support for front desk and customer service functions as needed. Maintain complete, accurate, and organized documentation while collaborating with the administrative team to support office workflow. What We're Looking For Minimum of 2 years of insurance and billing experience; medical or behavioral health experience preferred. Knowledge of insurance verification, claims processing, payment posting, and billing procedures. Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic records, billing systems, Microsoft Office, and standard office software. Excellent organization, attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining accurate and confidential documentation.
