Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Admin Assist-Eligibility Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity in Columbia, SC. This Eligibility Specialist II role supports Medicaid eligibility determinations for specialized programs and cases, including children, disability, cancer-related programs, and other complex eligibility categories. - Review Medicaid applications and supporting documentation to determine eligibility for specialized programs.
- Research and verify information related to income, resources, disability status, household composition, and program requirements.
- Request, track, and follow up on missing documentation from applicants, partner agencies, and other sources.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential case documentation throughout the eligibility review process.
- Process eligibility determinations according to state and federal policies and established procedures.
- Navigate multiple computer systems while managing an assigned caseload and meeting quality expectations. Compensation and Benefits
