Credentialing Specialist (Onsite)

Job Summary Our client is seeking a skilled Credentialing Specialist responsible for managing the credentialing process for oral surgeons and general dentists. The role involves completing roster verifications, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with various departments to ensure all provider information is up-to-date. Key Responsibilities Manage the credentialing process for oral surgeons and general dentists Complete roster verifications and CAQH attestations regularly Maintain clean and accurate records within the credentialing platform Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to update relevant provider information Maintain accurate electronic and hard copy files of all credentialing documentation Communicate with providers to address discrepancies or missing information Monitor expiring licenses and credentials and initiate renewal processes Perform any other assigned duties Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of experience in credentialing and provider enrollment in a healthcare setting Strong knowledge of industry regulations, including CAQH attestations and payer protocols Proficiency in credentialing software and databases Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook Effective communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional organizational and time management abilities Ability to work independently and within a team Tech-savvy with good system/software skills Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
