It serves a dual role, combining responsibilities as an Enrollment Assistant while also providing school-wide support in classrooms, at the front desk, and in curriculum implementation in alignment with the Texas minimum standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field is required.
- Director's credentials (Texas minimum standards)
- 2 years of experience in Enrollment, management, and school support in a licensed childcare

This schedule may be adjusted in the future based on the evolving needs of the school. Answering inquiry calls using our KA methods as well as setting up tours and call-backs. Working with teachers to prepare classroom for tour (presentation of room and teachers trained on speaking with prospective parents). Assists Director to conduct tours with prospective families by highlighting the strengths of the KA brand, school, classrooms and teachers. Data entry and maintenance of new inquiries, tours and enrollments. Part of the goal setting and accomplishing for weekly and monthly enrollments. Other areas of support Keep the children's files updated and completed, help with other office task. Support teachers for bathroom breaks, Cover classrooms when teachers call out. Curriculum Coach partial support on the following areas (only if needed): Conducts classroom observations, and evaluations, and provides feedback that motivates and encourages learning. Uses a strengths perspective to train and coach teachers (through empathy and strong communication skills). Develops and follows a monthly observation calendar with feedback sessions. Observations and classroom support of being in classrooms with teachers. Assists teachers with the Parent Conferences (Sept and May) and conducting of student's assessments. Listens objectively to concerns. Assists with classroom management concerns and keeping classrooms in KA ratios. Reviews weekly lesson plans and ensures it is in alignment with KA, propreitatry curriculum. Current on additions and changes made to the KA curriculum. Transfers that knowledge in a clear and consistent manner to the current teachers. Ensures that health and safety policies and procedures are held to the highest standard in each classroom (name to face/hand washing/3 step disinfecting process). Responsible for the education piece of the monthly staff meetings (topic and presentation to staff on a topic required in their 24 hours CEU's per year). Plans and executes special events at the school (winter themed program, graduation, holiday parties and parent gifts) with the assistance of the Director, Take pictures of curriculum activities and make sure the teachers send it in a daily basis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associates degree or currently enrolled in college for ECE or related field highly preferred, CDA completed. At least two years of center assistant leadership/management experience. Must have teaching experience with infants to Pre-Kindergarten children. Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations and Texas Rising Stars. Strong familiarity with Texas Rising Star standards and compliance requirements.
