We are committed to delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing professionalism and patient-centered service. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance Verifier to join our administrative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to accuracy, and the ability to navigate insurance policies efficiently. As an Insurance Verifier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring insurance information is verified accurately to facilitate smooth billing processes and optimal patient service. Review and verify patient insurance information prior to appointments, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Communicate effectively with insurance companies to confirm coverage details and resolve discrepancies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, including HIPAA regulations and benefits administration standards. Collaborate with the billing department to ensure proper documentation and claims processing. Assist patients with questions related to their insurance coverage, benefits, and claims status. Analyze insurance data to identify potential issues or inconsistencies that may impact billing or reimbursement. Help answer phones and occasionally schedule patients Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex insurance policies and coverage details. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, insurance representatives, and team members. Experience in sales administration or customer service within a healthcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance during verification processes. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse patient populations. Familiarity with insurance sales concepts and benefits administration enhances understanding of coverage nuances.
