Provider Services Specialist Child Care Associates - 3.7 Hurst, TX Job Details Full-time $12.87 - $19.31 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Passenger vehicle Phone communication Driver's License Desktop applications Full Job Description Associate degree or Child Development Associate (CDA) and a minimum of one (1) year of full-time work experience in child development, child care programs, customer service, or social work. -OR- A high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a child care facility. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to learn, navigate, and adapt to new software systems and databases. Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with diverse audiences. Must be legally authorized to work in US/TX. Position subject to successful completion of background checks. This position involves frequent field work and travel within Tarrant County. Use of a personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and adequate automobile insurance in accordance with state law are required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions. This position is primarily sedentary and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching may be required during the workday. Frequent use of hands and fingers for computer keyboarding, data entry, and handling documents. Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the telephone, and via electronic communication. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus to review documents and computer screens. Ability to lift and carry office materials or files weighing up to 30 pounds on an occasional basis. Oversee provider lifecycle, including interest, eligibility, enrollment, onboarding, ongoing monitoring and assessment, termination, and offboarding. Develop and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with providers to support compliance and high-quality service delivery. Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective child care providers interested in participating in the Child Care Services program. Support new providers through the enrollment and application process, including verification of licensing status and eligibility requirements. Conduct mandatory provider orientations covering all facets of enrollment, including CCMS policies, provider responsibilities, billing procedures, and attendance systems. Obtain, review, and maintain required enrollment documentation. Conduct required background and sex offender registry searches for Listed Relative providers. Serve as the primary point of contact for provider updates, including name changes, rate changes, contact updates, licensing information changes, temporary closures, or program termination. Provide ongoing support to active providers, answering questions related to attendance tracking, billing, parent fees, and program requirements. Perform on-site provider visits to review compliance with CCMS policies, Provider Agreements, Local Workforce Development Board standards, and Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Child Care requirements. Conduct fiscal monitoring to review documentation, including provider communications, rate documentation, parent fee receipts, licensing reports, attendance data, and Provider Agreement terms. Document monitoring results and upload completed fiscal monitor reports into appropriate system. Place providers who are in violation of policies on Service Improvement Agreements (SIA), monitor progress, provide guidance during the improvement period, and recommend removal of SIA upon demonstrated compliance. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to provider enrollment, monitoring, and compliance activities and ensure correct and appropriate notations in CCMS automated systems. Support the offboarding process for providers who voluntarily exit the program or are terminated due to noncompliance or violations. Communicate with other departments to provide timely and accurate provider updates. Work independently and remain self-motivated while managing field schedules, provider visits, and competing priorities. Attend and participate in required training sessions and professional development activities. Other duties as assigned.
