Job Description

Insurance Verification Specialist Responsibilities & Duties:
Verifying insurance for incoming referrals. Communicate prior authorization and referral requirements and requesting when necessary. Working with billing team on post-authorizations. Ability to request single case agreements when necessary. Create logins for authorizations and prior authorizations when necessary. Checking faxes and sending them out as necessary. Additional administration tasks as necessary.
Job Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Products. Extensive knowledge of HMO, PPO, EPO, copays, deductibles and OOPM. Proficient in EMRS and communication devices. Ability to self-manage and organize many moving parts. Strong communication and writing skills. Ability to coordinate and interact with all departments. In-office working environment.
