Job Description

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE DENTAL FIELD TO APPLY POSITION BEGINNING JULY, 2026 NOT A REMOTE POSITION
Red Cedar Dentistry is looking for an insurance specialist and patient care coordinator to join our team! Position includes answering phones and scheduling patients, checking patients in and out, triaging patient concerns, verifying insurance benefits, estimating insurance benefits, detailing treatment plans, etc. Verify patient insurance coverage accurately by reviewing policies and communicating with insurance companies to confirm benefits and eligibility. Newer office (2018) with 2 dentists, and very modern technology. Fun team atmosphere, very little staff turnover! We are expanding our practice and looking to add to our team.
Office hours:
(staggered opening and closing with other admin team members) Monday 9-6 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:30-5 Friday 7:30-1:30 Process insurance claims efficiently using CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining the confidentiality and security of all medical records and patient information. Assist in resolving claim denials or discrepancies by analyzing medical records, coding errors, or documentation issues. Collaborate with dental office staff to facilitate smooth billing processes and ensure accurate medical terminology usage. Conduct insurance verification for new and existing patients, updating records promptly to reflect current coverage details. Stay informed on managed care policies, insurance plan updates, and coding guidelines to optimize reimbursement processes. Experience Prior experience working in dental field
REQUIRED
Experience with processing insurance preferred On the job guidance for insurance processing with our current insurance specialist available for the first year or so.
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour
