Executive Assistant to the CEO Alaska Jewish Campus Anchorage, AK Job Details Full-time $25 - $28 an hour 9 days ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Executive administrative support Research Attention to detail Typing Productivity software Time management Full Job Description Executive Assistant to the CEO - Mission-Driven Nonprofit (Anchorage, AK) Alaska Jewish Campus is seeking a highly capable, organized, and proactive Executive Assistant to serve as a right hand to our CEO. This is not a traditional administrative role this position sits at the center of a growing, mission-driven organization and requires someone who can anticipate needs, manage complexity, and help drive execution. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly detail-oriented, and able to move seamlessly between high-level coordination and hands-on support. You are someone who notices what needs to be done before being asked and takes pride in getting things right. What You'll Do Manage a complex calendar, scheduling, and email correspondence with a high level of accuracy and responsiveness Draft, edit, and refine written communications including emails, letters, and speeches Prepare materials and support meetings with community leaders, donors, and public officials Conduct research and assist in developing presentations and internal/external materials Assist with marketing and communications (flyers, outreach materials; Canva experience preferred) Coordinate logistics, follow-ups, and moving pieces across meetings, events, and initiatives Handle occasional errands and provide day-to-day support as needs arise What Success Looks Like in This Role The CEO's time is well-managed, organized, and protected Communication is clear, polished, and handled proactively Meetings, events, and projects move forward smoothly with strong follow-through Details are handled before they become problems The CEO and leadership team can rely on you to keep priorities moving This Role Requires Exceptional writing and communication skills Strong organizational and time-management ability with attention to detail High level of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting needs without losing track of details Comfort working both independently and collaboratively Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, email systems, Canva or similar tools) Fast and accurate typing skills Who You Are You take initiative and do not wait to be told what to do You are highly detail-oriented and follow through consistently You communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally You are calm under pressure and adaptable to different working styles You are ego-free and willing to step in wherever needed You are comfortable interacting with a wide range of people, including leadership, donors, and community members This Role Is Not a Fit If You prefer highly repetitive or strictly defined tasks You are uncomfortable with shifting priorities or a fast-paced environment You need constant direction to move work forward You are not comfortable handling sensitive information or interacting with leadership Position Details Full-time or part-time (approximately 25-40 hours per week, depending on candidate) In-person position based in
