First Southern Bank is looking for an Executive Assistant to join our team! The Executive Assistant 's responsibilities include but are not limited to the administrative support duties of the President & CEO, facilitating effective communication between management, associates, and board of directors, coordination and management of various committee and board meetings and materials, and serving as a stakeholder for internal and external company initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide multi-faceted administrative support and assistance to ensure effective use of an executive?s time, including schedule management, meeting preparation, and preparing summaries and reports Assist in managing special projects and initiatives, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of tasks Conduct research and analysis on markets, competitors, and industry trends to support executive decision-making Prepare presentation materials including agendas and board meeting packages, record minutes for various committee meetings Maintain confidential information; organize and prioritize requests and tasks, ensuring timely responses and resolutions Build and maintain positive relationships with internal teams, communicate bank campaigns including team newsletters, business updates, associate recognition, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in business administration, communication, or related field; preferred 5+ years of experience in an executive support role, preferably within a banking or financial services environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable with adopting new software and technology Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Effective communication skills (in person, phone, and email) Initiative-taking and independent, able to anticipate needs and act without direct supervision Ability to operate in a team environment to accomplish shared goals Friendly, courteous, and professional disposition Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled
