This leadership role is responsible for overseeing residential program operations, regulatory compliance, quality assurance initiatives, and staff performance within our IDD services division. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) services, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to maintain high standards of compliance, accountability, and person-centered care. This position works closely with the Executive Director and plays a key role in strengthening operational systems, supporting staff development, and ensuring excellence across residential services. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Provide leadership and supervision to QDDPs, Team Leads, and clinical/behavioral staff Support day-to-day residential operations and program performance Monitor staffing, scheduling, and service delivery to ensure continuity of care Conduct regular site visits to residential homes and program locations Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and high-quality service Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with ADMH regulations, HCBS Settings Rule requirements, and agency policies Lead quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives Conduct audits of documentation, residential environments, and program operations Monitor incidents, corrective action plans, and compliance trends Assist with licensing reviews, audits, surveys, and accreditation readiness Clinical & Person-Centered Services Oversee implementation of Person-Centered Plans (PCPs) and Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs) Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, therapy, and behavioral health providers Ensure services remain person-centered, ethical, and least restrictive Support Human Rights Committee (HRC) processes and documentation standards Staff Development Coach, mentor, and develop leadership staff and direct reports Support hiring, onboarding, training, and employee performance management Reinforce agency standards, compliance expectations, and ethical practices
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience working in IDD services Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in residential or community-based services Strong knowledge of ADMH regulations, HCBS standards, and person-centered practices Experience with compliance oversight, audits, and quality improvement processes
Preferred:
