Job Description

As Immerse continues to grow in Central Arkansas, we are looking for an Executive Assistant to support and be an extension to the Central Arkansas Executive Director—someone who sees around corners, protects the Executive Director's time, and keeps the Conway location running with warmth and professionalism when the Executive Director isn't onsite. The role will spend approximately 25% of their time in Conway, which means this person will often be supporting the Executive Director virtually, while working with the team in the Conway office. You will greet community members, manage office operations, represent the Executive Director's priorities, and handle both logistical and relational tasks with equal skill. The Executive Assistant is a full-time, in-person role based in Conway, AR.
Role description:
The Executive Assistant will: Provide support to the Executive Director - support the Executive Director with various administrative duties including finance, board relations, communications, scheduling, data entry, developing materials, and other needs. Manage Office Administration - manage the general administrative operations for Immerse including setting up meetings, internal communications, scheduling of Immerse-wide events, and making sure the offices have what they need to be successful. Support the Senior Leadership Team - assist in the areas of finance and development in various different ways including data entry, preparing thank you notes, entering bills and accounts payable, and occasionally serving as a proxy for leadership team members. Seek Team and Personal Development - Continually seek opportunities for growth, understanding, and balance to maintain health, both individually and as a member of the Immerse Arkansas team. Promote teamwork through collaboration, support, and communication.
Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, nonprofit management, or related field is required.
Experience:
2 + years experience in an administrative role, providing administrative and organizational support for leadership teams or executives.

Arkansas Additional Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to represent the Executive Director professionally in correspondence and in person Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously High emotional intelligence—able to read a room, adapt tone, and interact with a wide range of people Comfortable with AI tools (Claude, Google Workspace, etc.) or eager and quick to learn Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Drive) and Microsoft Office Prior experience supporting a senior executive in a nonprofit, ministry, or mission-driven organization Familiarity with youth-serving organizations, foster care, or trauma-informed environments Experience with project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, or similar) Local knowledge of the Conway, AR community and professional networks Must demonstrate a commitment to the value of cultural competency Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be able to travel within the assigned region Must successfully complete the required background checks and drug screening Must maintain current certification in CPR, First Aid, and other certifications as determined by the organization Must be able to work from the Conway, AR office five days per week About Immerse Arkansas Immerse Arkansas was founded in 2010 with the mission of helping transform youth from crisis into overcomers. The nonprofit organization serves youth between the ages of 14 and 24, whose past trauma and challenges have created barriers to becoming independent, healthy, successful adults. Immerse Arkansas works with youth and families to address the underlying trauma resulting from abuse or neglect. We are looking for someone who fits that description to lead one of our programs working directly with youth from crisis ages 14-24. The Executive Assistant is a full-time, salaried position based in Conway, AR.
Pay:
$48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
