Job Summary:
ABC Entertainment Drama team is seeing an Executive Assistant who will be an exceptional addition to our team. As an Executive Assistant at ABC Entertainment, you will materially impact the productivity and efficiency of the team. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in changing environment and collaborative settings. The position will report to a Vice President of Drama Current and Manager of Drama Development.
Responsibilities:
Organize heavy calendar scheduling, and phone correspondence; submits expense reports, books travel arrangements Capture and distribute meeting minutes and tracks action items Read and watch current material in a timely manner and provide feedback if necessary Compose correspondence as needed; write synopsis and loglines of episodes for internal scheduling systems and weekly, widely-distributed report Organize contact lists of writers, producers, and creative executives for current shows and development projects Manage and evaluate incoming submissions of written and visual materials and keep an accurate account of all materials that are submitted Provide additional support to other executives and department as needed
Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year of administrative assistant experience Ability to anticipate administrative needs and work with a sense of urgency Experience with managing complex calendars and professional meetings/events Proven skills at building and maintaining business relationships, multi-tasking and remaining calm under pressure A "can-do" attitude - relentlessly collaborate and positive; nothing is too large or too small Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong technical proficiency in all Microsoft and Google applications (Airtable experience appreciated) Exceptional organizational skills with thoughtful judgment, commitment and tenacity, and a passion for details Strong communication skills with the ability to interface and effectively partner with a variety of internal/external stakeholders Knowledge and passion for television and media
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $54,000 to $72,400 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
