Job Description
The Company School Yard Rap is changing the way school districts teach about history through our multimodal supplemental curriculum created for this media-enriched generation! We bring cultural history alive! Our curriculum focuses on the interdisciplinary of history and literature. School Yard Rap's mission is to drastically improve the educational experiences of learners of all ages by providing curriculum, content, music, and professional development that uplifts the narratives of minorities. We work to build awareness, knowledge, and competencies for excellence and equity in schools and companies. The Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the executive team and ensuring that the office runs smoothly.Location :
Fresno, CA Essential Responsibilities:
Assist the CEO and other executives Manage and maintain executive schedules, including scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings Organize company meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries Prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents Create and maintain filing and record-keeping systems Answer and screen phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls as appropriate Manage office supplies and inventory Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Perform minor accounting duties Assist in tracking high-priority projects and deadlines, following up with stakeholders as needed. Coordinate travel arrangements including booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries. Accompany the CEO on business travel to meetings, conferences, or events throughout the state and, on occasion, to other states. Must be available for occasional overnight travel. Perform other duties as required and assignedExperience & Background Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred 2+ years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a fast-paced environment Exceptional organizational and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in in Google Workspace (or Microsoft Office), Zoom, and project management tools. Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalismJob Type:
