This individual will serve as a trusted partner to an executive who operates at an exceptionally high pace, holds themselves and their team to the highest standards, and expects nothing short of excellence in every interaction and deliverable. The ideal candidate is polished, professional, and always two steps ahead. You bring strong judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities with composure. You thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment, and will represent this executive and the firm with discretion and poise in every interaction. This is a full-time, on-site position based in San Francisco, five days per week. Schedule flexibility outside of standard hours is expected. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and experienced EA looking to make a meaningful impact at a top-tier venture capital firm. Responsibilities Calendar & Scheduling Own and manage a complex, high-demand calendar with acute judgement - anticipating conflicts, protecting priorities, and ensuring the executive's time is always optimized. Coordinate recurring team meetings, board meetings across portfolio companies, investor meetings, and external engagements. Proactively identify scheduling issues before they arise and resolve them swiftly and independently. Communications & Correspondence Serve as a primary point of contact for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders - including portfolio company executives, Limited Partners, and senior firm leadership - always representing the executive and the firm with professionalism and discretion. Maintain timely, thoughtful communication across all channels, recognizing that every interaction is a direct reflection of the executive and the firm. Travel & Logistics Coordinate all domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and detailed itineraries. Manage real-time travel disruptions and logistics changes with efficiency and calm. Administrative Support Prepare and submit accurate, timely expense reports and maintain organized records. Manage special projects and ad hoc requests with discretion, resourcefulness, and an ownership mentality. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of executive assistant experience supporting C-suite or senior-level executives, within venture capital or a similarly demanding professional environment. A reputation for impeccable professionalism - your presentation, communication, and conduct reflect the highest standards at all times. Exceptional organizational skills and obsessive attention to detail. A deeply proactive and forward-thinking mindset - you anticipate needs and address issues before they surface. Strong judgment and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment. Proven ability to handle confidential information with unwavering discretion. High energy, resilience, and composure under pressure; perform well when expectations are high and the pace is demanding. Flexibility to arrive early, stay late, and be available when needed - you understand that supporting a senior executive requires adaptability without exception. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; familiarity with travel and expense management platforms. Bachelor's degree or higher required.
