Job Description

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for an Executive Assistant to provide advanced administrative support to the Men's and Women's Tennis programs for two head coaches and their assistant coaches. Coordinates team travel, team meals, recruit visits, maintains databases, submits purchase orders, approves invoices for payment, reconciles P-card purchases, while monitoring department budget and assists with annual summer camps. This position requires the incumbent to have strong administrative, interpersonal, communication, computer, and customer service skills; be organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated; be an independent thinker; multitask effectively; engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds and with high energy, intense personalities; and work a non-standard work week which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. This posting will remain open until a qualified candidate is chosen.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree• Two years of progressively responsible administrative experience• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an intercollegiate or professional athletic environment, preferably with the sport of tennis •An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of listed requirement.
