Job Description

The Client Executive is an intermediate-level position responsible for assisting clients in supporting capital markets transactions.

Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Agency & Trust transactions for products covering Corporate Debt, Structured Finance, CLOs and Specialized Agency. Must possess strong client service and problem solving skills, ability to independently manage portfolio of transactions, negotiate and onboard new business, acts as primary contact for existing client relationships, assist sales with new business initiatives and participate in client meetings and special projects.
Responsibilities:
Deliver client satisfaction and enhanced financial results through the management of service/operational issues impacting the target clients Identify clients' business needs and work with internal partners to deliver solutions, adding value and cross-selling Citi products Perform regular service reviews and develop actions plans to address issues/deliver solutions as well as perform regular face-to-face client meetings Coordinate with Operations for transaction set-up, activity and reporting Coordinate with Operations for inquiries from clients and other transaction stakeholders Lead strong governance and controls Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputation Be familiar with and adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you Responsible for day to day management and support of debt, specialized agency and structured finance/structured credit transactions. Address client inquiries and work with functional partners on any special client servicing issues or requirements. Assist the client lifecycle strategy from acquisition through early client engagement implementation and maintenance of transactions Assist with client and other transaction stakeholders (bankers, counsel, lenders, noteholders) with day-to-day activities related to their transactions Review and oversee day-to-day transaction activity Address and resolve inquiries from both internal and external Agency & Trust clients in connection with transactions, Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of relevant experience Previous experience in the financial industry preferred Proven analytical and organization skills Display strong initiative and ability to structure and drive projects from idea to completion Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
