Job Description

Summary:
The Executive Administrative Assistant for VP of Corporate Planning and Development is responsible for performing diverse administrative and personal assistant services that are complex and often of a confidential nature. Must have a thorough knowledge of the company/hotel policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Reliable, self-starter, detail-oriented, and organization a must; requiring little to no supervision. Will represent the best interest of the company at all times and interact professionally with a diverse company staff while performing any duty deemed necessary for the good of the company. Responsible for organizing and expediting the flow of work through the VP of Corporate Planning and Development's office and for monitoring follow-up as needed from various individuals. Responsible for prioritizing workload each day and communicating with the VP of Corporate Planning and Development on any conflicts. Responsible for planning the VP of Corporate Planning and Development's diary and keeping him informed accordingly Responsible for reading and routing incoming mail and responding, independently when possible, including ensuring all correspondence is dealt with accurately, in a timely and professional manner. Provide administrative support to the VP of Corporate Planning and Development. Ensures reports, memos, and correspondence are typed, completed on time, and kept on file when applicable. Responsible for answering and screening phone calls and taking complete, accurate information, redirecting phone calls as needed, and returning phone calls as directed. Responsible for taking meeting minutes for VP of Corporate Planning and Development's meetings as needed; transcribes and distributes. Ability to work and maintain professional calm in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. Ability to deal with multiple tasks. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ensures all company policies are adhered to (i.e., dress code, attendance, reporting to and leaving work on time, professional conduct). Responsible for the cleanliness and neatness of the office and operation. Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy. All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of administrative experience required. Candidate will have to pass a grammar/typing test. Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
