As a nonprofit organization serving individuals across Georgia, CVI is recognized for innovative care models and a commitment to expanding what is possible for people with visual impairment. Position Summary CVI is seeking a highly organized, proactive Executive Assistant & Board Liaison to support the President & CEO and ensure strong coordination across CVI's governance and leadership activities. This role supports executive operations, multiple boards, committees, task forces, and an advisory council, while helping drive follow‑through on priorities, meetings, and commitments. Key Responsibilities Executive Support Manage the CEO's calendar, scheduling, and meeting logistics Prepare agendas, briefing materials, reports, and follow‑up items Help prioritize requests and commitments Track action items and ensure timely follow‑through Draft and edit correspondence, presentations, and documents Handle confidential information with discretion Manage data for reporting Board & Governance Support Serve as liaison to the CVI Board, CVI Foundation Board, committees, task forces, and Advisory Council Schedule quarterly board and committee meetings Prepare and distribute board materials and packets Record and maintain accurate meeting minutes Support board onboarding and ongoing engagement Maintain organized governance records and documentation Fundraising & External Support Support CEO‑led fundraising and donor engagement activities Prepare materials and logistics for donor and foundation meetings Coordinate donor correspondence in coordination with development team Track follow‑up related to fundraising efforts Organizational Support Serve as an in‑office connector supporting collaboration and culture Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes Qualifications Required 1-3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or administrative professional Exceptional organization, communication, and follow‑through skills High level of professionalism, judgment, and discretion Proficiency with Microsoft Office Preferred Experience supporting senior executives and working with boards or committees Experience in nonprofit or healthcare environments Familiarity with nonprofit governance or fundraising Work Environment Occasional evening or early morning hours Equal Employment Opportunity Statement The Center for the Visually Impaired is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
