Job Description

Position Summary The Human Resources / Executive Assistant provides administrative and operational support to both the Human Resources function and Executive Administration team. This position plays a key role in supporting employee engagement, recruitment, onboarding, and organizational operations while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-driven, adaptable, and eager to grow professionally within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Pay:
$24/hr Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage employee recruitment activities, including posting positions, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and assisting hiring managers throughout the selection process. Coordinate and manage new hire onboarding processes and employment documentation. Conduct new hire orientations and provide information regarding HR policies, procedures, programs, and employee benefits. Perform onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring a positive employee experience and accurate recordkeeping. Maintain and update confidential employee personnel files and HR records in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations. Assist with employee engagement initiatives, employee events, wellness activities, recognition programs, and other special projects. Respond to internal and external inquiries related to Human Resources and administrative support in a professional and timely manner. Perform general administrative office duties including answering and directing incoming phone calls, receiving and sorting incoming mail, and document preparation. Provide daily administrative support to the Executive Administration team, including drafting correspondence, preparing reports and presentations, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars as needed. Support the organization by identifying opportunities for process improvement and assisting with implementation of new initiatives. Exercise independent judgment and demonstrate initiative while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee and organizational information. Perform other Human Resources and administrative duties as assigned. Essential Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, customer service, and relationship-building skills. Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-driven with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally. Working knowledge of human resource principles, practices, and procedures. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related office software applications. Essential Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum of two (2) years of related administrative or Human Resources experience required. Associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred. Essential Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to frequently communicate verbally and hear conversations in person and over the telephone. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the office and organization facilities. Must occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 15 pounds. Must be able to operate standard office equipment, including computers, printers, copiers, and telephones. Must be able to access and navigate all departments and facilities within the organization.
