Full Job Description Summary of Responsibility:
The objectives are to oversee the planning, direction and implementation of all programs and policies of the company; and to ensure the efficient and effective administration and execution of all facility business.Duties :
Establishes and directs the implementation of written policies and procedures that reflect the goals and objectives of the facility. Ensures that all personnel, residents, visitors and the general public follow established policies and procedures. Reviews policies and procedures periodically, at least annually, and makes changes as necessary to ensure compliance with current regulations. Recruits, selects, and trains competent department supervisors and other auxiliary personnel. Keeps abreast of the economic situation and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the continued ability to provide quality resident care. Assist in the preparation an annual operating budget for approval by the governing board and allocates the resources to carry out programs and activities of the facility. Reviews financial records and cost reports for tracking and accuracy. Notifies company contact of the need to purchase major equipment as authorized. Maintains overall authority for every department in the facility. Meets with the department supervisors on a regularly scheduled basis concerning the operations of their departments. Responsible for seeing that public relations activities assure a favorable image of the facility's programs on a local and state level. Assures that an adequate number of appropriately trained professional personnel are on duty at all times to meet the needs of the residents. Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information.Education and Experience:
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. College degree is preferred. A bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration or other health degree is preferred. Desirable to have a certification of management training. Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years experience, in a supervisory capacity in a health related facility.Similar remote jobs
